Winter Artisan Show highlights work of photographer Gary Randall

Photography capturing the great outdoors will be the focus for Gary Randall, featured artist at the 7th annual Winter Artisan Show on Dec. 1 and 2. The show, held at the historic Estacada City Hall, features the art and fine crafts of local virtuosos.

Estacada artists and those from nearby communities offer their works for sale just in time for holiday giving. For any artist who is interested, applications are being taken for the juried show and sale. This year, because of the high interest in local food innovators, there will be a section of the sale devoted to food product sales, similar to those available at Estacada Uncorked in late June. That includes hand-crafted hot sauces from locally-sourced ingredients, candies and truffles, honey products and spreads, and wines and similar brewed beverages.

The combination of arts and food create a special  holiday shopping opportunity for local and area-wide shoppers. The show and sale will 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. Admission is free. The holiday tree lighting ceremony on Broadway Street will be held concurrently on Friday night with horse-drawn wagon rides and hot chocolate.
